Risk monitor

Reducing the cost of claims is one of the most effective ways to reduce your insurance costs. Do you want to reduce claims costs? Fleet Insurance can help you set up structural customer monitoring without investing in telematics.

How it works
You have supplier relationships and receive claims reports. But how can the first step towards claims control be taken in the easiest way? The answer is the Fleet Insurance Risk monitor. With this tool, fleet managers can easily discuss the claims with their drivers. The Risk monitor enables structural monitoring of the claims without the use of telematics, but by making use of existing information.

  The Risk monitor makes your life easier by:

    • All-in-1 insight: per country business unit, driver, car maker, vehicle type, insight into claims costs, loss ratio, frequency, cost per damage for both third party liability and Casco;
    • Benchmark: the basis for an effective discussion about damage is a clear definition of the standard you expect and which deviation from this standard necessitates a conversation with the business unit or driver. We support establishing a definition of the benchmark based on your specific fleet profile;
    • Reports for each user: separate dashboards for risk managers, HR managers, procurement managers, business unit managers and drivers of comp[any cars.
    • Indirect costs and costs to society: the total costs of damage are greater than just the costs of repair. The indirect costs, such as time that employees spend on processing damage (such as visiting the damage repair shop, collecting replacement transport and, in the case of a gray license plate, often also rescheduling work) are made transparent. The costs to society are also estimated (traffic jams, pollution, etc.);
    • Implementation support: training of managers, extensive work instructions, manual, etc. are available;
    • Time saving: no more time has to be spent on processing and integrating Excel files. Reports from previous suppliers are also automatically processed without costing you time;
    • Automatic signaling function: business units and drivers with high claims costs are automatically signaled;
    • No investment in hardware: the Risk monitor is offered in a subscription form, without one-off upfront investments.

Damage control works! Structural follow-up and reporting of damage is the most effective way to reduce the damage costs. The result: a claim reduction of 62% after 4 years.

The Risk monitor in 3 steps

Structurally lower claims costs is the result of structural follow-up, and this is easy to achieve with the Risk monitor.

  1.
    1. Login, go to the signaling dashboard and consult the list of signaled business units and drivers
    2. Check the fleet damage report, the damage trend on key KPI’s such as frequency
    3. Discuss the claims costs with the identified business units or drivers; show the reports online or share them as a PDF. Also share the individual driver reports for the drivers with the highest burden.
